Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR)
IGIDR is a think tank and an autonomous research body located in Mumbai and founded by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the country's Central Bank. IGIDR is one of the few centers of higher learning in India that focuses on academic training and research from an interdisciplinary perspective. IGIDR brings together researchers from diverse specializations to provide a holistic analysis of contemporary issues in areas like, law and economics, corporate governance, money and finance. The Institute carries out research funded by various international organizations like the World Bank, USAID, Asian Development Bank, IMF. etc. IGIDR is well known for its biennial India Development Report that surveys contemporary economic issues. About Hyderabad City
Hyderabad is one of the fastest growing cities in India. Technological innovation is slowly becoming the city's forte and it is home to many global IT firms, international companies, central and state government units, research and development institutes, and defense establishments. The city is well connected by air, rail and road to international and Indian destinations. Many leading cities in India like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata are all within two hours flying distance from Hyderabad. International flights are available to the USA, UK, Frankfurt, Singapore, the Middle East, Bangkok, Colombo and Kuala Lumpur.

Weather
Hyderabad has a tropical savanna climate with dry winters. The average daily temperatures in August range from 29°C (84°F) during the day to 23°C (73°F) during the night. The dew point typically ranges from 18°C (64°F) to 24°C (75°F).
Throughout August, the most common forms of precipitation are light rain, moderate rain, drizzle and occasional thunderstorms. Precipitation is most likely around August 7, occurring in 70% of days. Precipitation is least likely around August 31, occurring in 65% of days.
